What does it take to sustain friendship?
It takes Understanding, Tolerance and Mutual respect.
Understanding, because you are two different people from separate backgrounds and with divergent views on issues. Tolerance, because in the cause of your interactions and daily dealings, conflict is inevitable and resolving it in time is necessary. More importantly, mutual respect for one another, this enables both parties have an understanding of the fact that friendship is not an excuse for unnecessarily meddling in each other’s personal affair. One persons action might lead to establishing a union but sustaining friendship requires a conscious attempt from both parties.
