A deadline is a time or date before which a particular task must be finished or a particular thing must be done. Deadline pressure is something virtually everyone has to deal with at some point in time. Dealing with deadline pressure requires one to take conscious and well calculated steps. If need be, one may seek help from others or humbly request for an extension from a higher authority. Though you can meet up with a deadline or get an extension if you are fortunate but, it is better to always take some time to contemplate how long it will take to deliver a task both in the best and worst case scenarios. This will help you work under less pressure and afford you time to be more productive while maintaining your reputation as a diligent and highly efficient professional.
