Having an inflated sense of entitlement is a major cause of failure. It also hinders growth and advancement. People with an inflated sense of entitlement find it hard to put in extra effort to succeed. They try to avoid doing hard work or hunting for a job that will allow them gather the resources needed to be self sustaining. They would rather spend than save and they except to maintain the standard of living they enjoy while feasting on other people’s wealth.

They live in denial and engage in self pity until something happens and they are forced to leave their comfort zone. At this junction, working hard and putting in extra effort to succeed becomes inevitable, but the time wasted ‘having an inflated sense of entitlement’ cannot be regained.
